Director Peter Berg ("The Kingdom," "The Rundown") tells Sci-Fi Wire that a sequel to "Hancock" is still on the cards.
"They [Sony Pictures] would like to fast-track it, but Will's busy, I'm pretty busy. We're excited to do one, but we want the script to be right and the movie to be right. We don't feel a burning imperative to go right back into it" says Berg.
"There might be another god out there... Might be another one" he said, adding that Jason Bateman's publicist character should continue his storyline of starting a charity campaign.
Summit Entertainment announced today that it has commenced principal photography on The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, directed by David Slade (30 Days of Night, Hard Candy) from a screenplay by Melissa Rosenberg. Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner will reprise their roles as Bella Swan, Edward Cullen and Jacob Black. The third film in the studio's "Twilight" film franchise based on Stephenie Meyer's blockbuster book series, will be released theatrically in North America on Wednesday, June 30, 2010.

Hamm joins Emily Browning, Vanessa Hudgens, Abbie Cornish, Jamie Chung, Jena Malone and Carla Gugino in Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures' 1950s-set tale of a girl (Browning) confined to a mental institution by her stepfather, who intends to have her lobotomized in five days. She and her friends enter an alternate reality where they begin planning an escape.
Hamm's character will be called High Roller.
Rosario Dawson will star alongside Denzel Washington and Chris Pine in Fox network runaway train drama "Unstoppable," directed by Tony Scott. Washington formally withdrew from "Unstoppable" in early July, then came to terms two weeks later to put the pic back on track for a fall start. He plays a veteran engineer who jumps into a locomotive with a young conductor (Pine) to stop an unmanned runaway train loaded with toxic cargo.
