It seems that director Sam Raimi (Spider-Man) is attached to the World of Warcraft movie as a directing vehicle. Based on the award winning game from the 1990s that has now spawned into an online real time player phenomenon.
What the ?! Just when you thought all ideas had been exhausted, news of a Saw VII comes to light, proving that once again Hollywood can milk an idea for all its worth. I love the series myself, and think that Leigh Whannell and James Wan should be commended for their originality, though their departure after Saw III was a fitting end to what they believed was the perfect trilogy.
Speaking of sequels, rumors of a GI Joe sequel are already surfacing and director Stephen Sommers dispelled any rumour that he was fired from the set as completely untrue as he had Final Cut of the whole thing.
Again with the Saw stuff...Darren Lynn Bousman ("Repo: The Genetic Opera," "Saw" 2-4) will write and direct "Abattoir" for Radical Pictures.It centres on a real estate agent assigned to clean up the remnants of a massacre that took place in a mansion he hopes to sell that is visited by a twisted old man who draws the agent into a web of shadows, murders and massacres.
Nicolas Cage is in talks to play a villain in "The Green Hornet". Cameron Diaz is negotiating to play a reporter and love interest in the movie which stars Seth Rogen as the masked crime fighter.
