Don't know about The Taking of Pelham 123 - enjoyed the original so much - that I think the reworked version may be more for those who never either read the book or perhaps were simply not born . . .
True Nice Guy, have seen the original but not read the book. Looking forward to seeing it all the same. Strong casts are usually needed to sell remakes and I gather it's the same story here. What are you ganging out for?
here is my most anticipated for the rest of the year:
Peter Jackson's District 9 Thirst (From the Director of Old Boy) Spliced (From the Director of Cube)
John Hillcoat's The Road
Wes Anderson's The fantastic Mr Fox
Coen Brothers A Serious Man
Spike Jonze's Where The Wild Things Are
James Cameron's Avatar
Steven Soderberg's The Informant
Tim Burton's 9
A hefty list there JD. Your text goes here
The informat looks good. Didn't know much about District 9 until recently, and I don't think Fantastic Mr. Fox hits these shores atleast until 2010 but I agree that was a great novel and the early screen shots look great
