Funny People, is written and directed by Judd Apatow(Knocked Up), and stars Adam Sandler(Happy Gilmore,Click),Seth Rogen(Observe & Report, Knocked Up),Leslie Mann (40 Year Old Virgin),Eric Bana(Black Hawk Down),Jonah Hill (Superbad,Forgetting Sarah Marshall) Ken Jeong (Role Models) and Jason Schwartzman(I Heart Huckabees).
It centres on a famous stand up comic George Simmons,played by Sandler, who when being diagnosed with an illness, decides to hand hi comedy act over to an amateur played by Rogen.
With this many stars in the mix, its hard to imagine this not being a side-splitting success. It will also be interesting to note how American audiences adapt to Bana in a comedic role, as he is not known for his gags in the states, however still much revered for his comedic prowess in his Australian homeland.
